When a normal trip becomes more interesting by the historical part of the country.
Hi ! Guys !
Today, I’m going to talk about a beautiful city, the second one of Polland, KRAKOVIA (famous city).
First, Cracovia is localisated in the South of Polland which is shared between the old monument and modern atmosphere inside. In fact, a lot of students stayed in the street and made advertissement for bars, restaurant and club (during the night of course), shows.... Thanks to a student we found an amazing restaurant, with high standing, cheap prices and perfect service. The meal was delicious and we shared a great moment together, I’ll never forget that.
This city also impressed me by her diversity in terms of museums, bars, the salt mine, restaurants, monuments... So we had to choose between all of these activities because we stayed just for two days. So we made two groups : the first one, planned to go the salt mine and the other one decided to wander in the city center. I choose the second group. Unfortunately it was raining but it is not enough to give us up. We walked in the city center (I bought an umbrella J), we went to the Harry Potter’ bar and have tried the butter beer, we visited the Wawel’ castle, with the statue of a Dragon at its bottom. This city has an amazing historical past. We understood it when we saw a lot of souvenirs of Dragon in the market. In fact, the origin of Krakovia stands on a story between the kingdom of a Prince Krakus (whose the name Krakovia comes from) and a Dragon. There are a lot of versions of this incredible story.

After that, we discovered KRAKOVIA BY NIGHT. The city transformed itself into a party atmosphere, with a lot of bars (Jazz concert, Pop music,…). First, we wanted to try polish food. Their food are based on potatoes with meet. We met a lot of students from all around the Europe. Also we explored some clubs. Some of them was on several levels and some other are just big, they have also like a room for the bar and the other side is a night club. This city is famous with the students.
The second day, we had the oppotunity to go to Auschwitz. It was the educational part of the trip. They gave to everyone an earphone with a radio to listen to our guide speech. No one scream or speak louder, everyone was quiet and listenned carrefully about the organization of the camp but also the rude consequences on people. In fact we can see the rest of hair or people staff like bags, shoes, clothes of the prisoners.

First, we visited the extermination camp and after that the concentration camp. Both of them are huge. It was hard to visit the first camp, because we have walked similar paths with a lot of dead innocent people. Only the fact of crossing the street was rude for us because of the winter, and imagine that it was the same conditions of living for several years and they just had pyjamas that insiste on how lucky we are. The second camp was worst than the first one. The cold just burned ourselfes.

We saw the railroads by whom prisoner got down, where the nazis decided if they can live or not. The mood was akwward and weird. This educational journey was interesting because we understood by seeing with our eyes that everything we have learned in history book, every horror that the nazis have done, all of that really have happened.
