Little trip to the mount Jested

Hi guys !!

Today, we went to the Mount Jested in order to visit it and admire the view. Indeed, it’s the symbol of the city Liberec - where we are for our erasmus – and also its hightest point. The ship-like building is both a hotel and a television transmitter and offers a magnificent view of the Jizerské hory mountains. The building at the top of the mountain was built by a Czech architect Karel Hubáček.

To get there, we took the bus then the tram, and finally a cable car to climb to the top. The view is breathtaking, I took a lot of pictures more or less fun with my friends, French as foreigners, which leaves us very good memories.

For the descent of the mountain we had the choice to go back by foot or take the cable car. I have chosen to walk. My small group of friends and I decided to make the adventure worse by going down the ski slopes that were closed. The road was dangerous between ice, snow and holes, slips and laughter, we almost all end up in the emergency room.

This little trip was very nice and leaves me very good memories. To do it again with a little more sun to have less cold.

Aujourd’hui, nous sommes allées au Mont Jested afin de le visiter et d’admirer la vue. En effet, c’est le symbol de la ville de Liberec – où nous sommes en Erasmus - et aussi son point le plus haut. Le batiment qui à une forme de vaisseau spatial est à la fois un hôtel et un émetteur de télévision et propose un magnifique point de vue sur les monts Jizerské hory. Le batiments au sommet du mont est l’œuvre de l’architecte tchèque Karel Hubáček.

Pour nous y rendre nous avons pris le bus puis le tramway, et enfin un téléphérique pour monter jusqu'en haut. La vue est à couper le souffle, j'ai pris beaucoup de photos plus ou moins fun avec mes amies, français comme étrangers. Ce qui nous laisse de très bon souvenir.

Pour la descente du mont nous avions le choix entre rentrer à pied ou reprendre le téléphérique. J'ai pour ma part choisi la marche. Mon petit groupe d'amis et moi-même avons choisi de corser l'aventure en descendant par les pistes de ski qui étaient fermées. Le chemin a été périlleux entre le verglas, la neige et les trous, les glissades et rigolades, nous avons failli tous finir aux urgences.

Ce petit voyage a été très sympa et me laisse de très bon souvenir. A refaire avec un peu plus de soleil pour avoir moins froid.
